What is “Written Communications in Business”?

It is a practical workshop that helps participants gain confidence and effectiveness in business writing.

Who is it for?

The “Written Communications in Business” workshop is an ideal tool for executives, managers and young professionals who have to deal with business contacts abroad and communicate with them effectively in writing. It is for those who use this skill on a regular basis and do not want to depend on secretaries or translators to write or correct their communications.

What is the English level required to benefit from the Workshop?

Students with an intermediate and upper level will benefit most of this training. Before registration a brief written test is given to participants to make sure they will feel comfortable during the sessions and will obtain the results mentioned above.

Florencia Wainerman has amassed more than a ten years of experience in teaching English. She joined Belén Alvarez & Equipo in 1998, where she teaches the language to professionals in companies and is responsible for developing customized training programs to top executives. She also conducts seminars and workshops in Business English. She is an English-Spanish Translator and Interpreter and earned her degree from the Universidad del Museo Social in 2003.

Belén Alvarez completed MADE Program at UCEMA University and holds a BA degree in English Legal Translation. She has managed Belen Alvarez & Equipo, her own Language Service Consulting Firm for 14 years. She has given Business English classes for 15 years. Also, she worked as a translator and interpreter for several boards of directors of American companies, gaining extensive experience in meetings, presentations, negotiations and investment rounds in Argentina and in the United States.

Rosario Aguerre coordinates English for MBAs. She also co-directs Professional English, a consulting firm which provides professionals with tools to work abroad. She completed MADE Program in December 2001. She holds a BA Degree in International Relations She has worked for Bank Boston and for Tenneco Automotive. In this multinational automotive company she had responsibility for Hispanic America Marketing. Her prior experience as an English teacher, some Teacher Training studies at Lenguas Vivas, some business courses abroad and her fondness for English have led her to organize this workshop
